WFMW-3 Minute Apple Cobbler
It is another WFMW!! This is a special theme: 5 ingredients or less
So, my friends, I give you:
The 3 Minute Apple Cobbler
INGREDIENTS:
Nilla Wafers
Applesauce
Whipped Topping (like cool whip)
Top 6 Nilla Wafers with 1/4 cup applesauce. Microwave on High for 15 seconds (or at whatever temp and time it will take your microwave to just get the applesauce nice and warm)Top with 1 Tbsp. thawed Cool Whip Whipped Topping.
This is a FANTASTIC dessert for even small children to help with making/prepareing. Little Dude is able to help me put the nilla wafers in a bowel and he does a descent job of spooning on applesauce. For kids in the 2 year range, like Little Dude, you probably only want them to make their own, as fingers do make it to the mouth and in the food...
And, best of all it is super quick, super easy, kids will love "cooking" it, and it has only 3 ingredients! Now put your kids to work! As a parent, I vote that you deserve a little mid-day treat.
And, while you are eating your well deserved and wonderfully prepared cobbler, go on over to Rocks in my Dryer to check out other fabulous 5 ingredient or less Works For Me Wednesday items!
